We live in incredibly uncertain times and unfortunately bankruptcy can happen to any one of us. This situation usually occurs with little or no warning to prepare you in advance. Please do not panic if this occurs, and do not ignore what is happening. The sooner that you act on these matters, the sooner you can get back on your feet financially.

We would advise that you get in contact with a specialist in insolvency as soon as it becomes apparent that your finances are at risk. Our team of experts will work with you to assess your options. They will, with a creative approach, look at unexplored avenues for financial recovery.

We advise individuals who are dealing with financial difficulties as well as those who are facing bankruptcy. You will not always need to enter into a formal insolvency process. There are other avenues in which we can assist you to resolve financial pressures from creditors.

If a formal bankruptcy or Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) process is required, then we can assist you in starting the procedure. We will put together the necessary documents to get you started. We can also advise you if you are already subject to bankruptcy, or if you are having issues keeping up with the terms of your voluntary arrangement proposal.

Should insolvency be your only option, we can then provide you with a strategy. This will be to ensure that proceedings are conducted as painlessly as possible. We want to ensure that you are prepared at the time of the proceedings and for the future after they have been concluded.

Our expertise also extends to sorting through financial affairs and advising on growing debts. If applicable, we can help you with your Individual Voluntary Arrangement to reduce your debts.  As well as this we can assist you by working on financial solutions before debt becomes an issue for you.

We are also able to provide debt avoidance strategies and aim to ensure that both your personal and commercial futures are secure. We do this so that you might avoid bankruptcy altogether.

As well as the above, we offer our advice to Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) on all aspects of bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements. This service can include the realisation of assets of the bankrupt’s estate and all claims needed to recover assets.

Our team of dedicated professionals are here to guide you through the bankruptcy process as seamlessly as possible. They ensure that you are aware of the restrictions which apply when you file for bankruptcy and how these may affect you.

Bankruptcy usually lasts 12 months from when the Court have made it so. Any deviations from this timeframe usually occur due to breaches of restrictions or lack of co-operation with the Trustee of your assets. Should you require an Annulment of your bankruptcy, our team will be able to assist with that too.
