Martyn Bateman (Practice Manager) Martyn has been Practice Manager at the firm since the start of 2000 and has overseen the substantial growth of the firm since then. His early career was in the Court Service serving in Crown and County Courts throughout the Midlands before a short spell as a Business Management consultant.

Martyn’s responsibilities range from planning for the future of the business to day-to-day administration. He is the Head of the Administration Department which deals with the Firm’s premises, people, IT systems and accounts, he is also the Firm’s Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.


Stephen Blake (HR Manager) Stephen joined Breeze & Wyles as HR Manager in 2002, having previously worked as an HR Manager in the IT sector and in the Sports and Leisure industry. He has worked at all levels of HR, from strategic to administrative, having set up and developed the HR function at Breeze & Wyles and previously at the QED IT Group. Stephen is responsible for all the HR requirements of the firm.

Stephen moved into Human Resource Management in the mid 1990s following a number of years in general management at sports and leisure centres in London. His work in sports centre management followed an early career as an officer in the Royal Navy. He has a BSc (hons) degree in Systems and Management from City University, Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Westminster and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Zac McWhinnie

Zac McWhinnie (IT Manager) Zac joined Breeze & Wyles Solicitors in 2012

Zac is responsible for the day-to-day running of the our internal/external networks and future development and planning of our IT infrastructure.
