Rita Wright
Head of Undefended Debt Recovery Team

(Chartered Legal Executive) manages the volume undefended debt collection process, ensuring that the client is given the best possible service at a cost effective level. In addition to her process management responsibility, Rita is the client relationship manager responsible for ensuring that client transactions are handled speedily and efficiently.

Rita Wright

Rita joined Breeze & Wyles in 1997 to run the firm’s repossession department. With a team of two others, she managed an automated system which enabled the firm to deal with an active pipeline of 2,000 files at any time at a cost efficient level whilst maintaining high service standards. She helped manage service charge debt collection for a national managing agent where the firm received an average of 4,000 instructions per quarter.

Maria Koureas-Jones
Head of Defended Debt Recovery Team

(Assistant Solicitor) – Maria is a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with responsibility for managing defended actions that arise from the debt collection process. She works closely with the undefended debt collection team to ensure that where a client’s matter becomes defended, they receive timely and accurate advice on the likelihood of success.
Maria Koureas-Jones

Maria has been qualified as a Solicitor for 4 years and in that time has advised large companies, SMEs and Professional Bodies in relation to claims of varying values and complexity. Maria plays a key role in the Unique Selling Point of this process by giving detailed and appropriate advice so that a client understands the merits of proceeding with a claim when it becomes defended.

Damian Pitts
Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Damian is a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with responsibility for managing defended actions that arise from the debt collection process. He works closely with the undefended debt collection team to ensure that where a client’s matter becomes defended, they receive timely and accurate advice on the likelihood of success.

Damian Pitts

Damian joined Breeze and Wyles in 2011 having graduated from the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2009. Damian was admitted as a solicitor in October 2012. He has acted for clients in claims involving construction disputes, breach of contract, and company law disputes. He also advises on company restorations and other company law matters. He leads on Fraud and asset Recovery matters and is the point of contact for that department.

Damian gives clear and constructive advice so that a client understands the merits of proceeding with a claim when it comes defended.
